has anyone seen this new gun and shot it. looking to get one but would like to hear how it performs first. thanks.
I have a new Taurus 9mm Slim. I absolutely love it. At the range the little gun has been flawless. The recoil is moderate and very controllable. This is my primary carry weapon.
My new Taurus 9mm Slim has been flawless so far. This is my primary carry weapon. I am a big Taurus fan - I own five of them.
Shot my buddies new out the box yesterday....Flawless with 150 rounds. nice little carry piece in my opion. Dissapointed in the adjustable sites though....I'd switch them out for some Staight Eights.
underrated guns out there. The uppty 1911 snobs and plastic-loving Glock weirdos oftentimes put Taurus in the same category as Jennings and Hi-point, but Taurus are great guns, probably about the best buy for the money you'll find in a new gun. I am not, however, a fan of those locking hammers on the revolvers. Take the simplicity of a revolver and add more things that can go wrong. Not good.
a nosey neighbor came up. He's jealous that I have
my own range LMAO. He made a wise crack about
my 22 being a cap pistol as he pulled out his
HiPoint 9 and poped off a few.
I handed that sucker my Taurus 357 4in and told
him to try a real gun. It almost flew out of his hand.
Love my 357 just the 22 is cheaper than I can load
There 1911's are amazing right out of the box! I also agree about the lock on the revolvers, the first thing I did with mine was throw out the key! I Had a 24/7 Pro in 9mm but it had to go, for Glock money!
i own 2 hi points one 380 and a 9mm keep one on the boat if it flops over my brother wont have to get tossed over to get it like one of my better guns i have over 1500 rounds shot in both and never a problem you can kick them all ya want hi points are good guns and as far as clocks over rated and who needs a hand gun under water that shoots un less your hunting sharks or one of lake eries 8 foot killer carps lol
But having a gun as reliable as the Glock is always a good thing. You may love your hi point, and that's fine. My life, and my family's lives, are worth enough to me that I'm going to stay with companies that have good quality control programs. Hi points are big, bulky, and their quality control is terrible. To each his own, but I prefer the quality of the Glock over the idea of skimping a couple hundred bucks for a cheapo gun.
How many and what type of Glocks do you own? I am doing a survey.
If you would rather PM or email me, I get it!
19, 26, and 34.
and closer to a 34,kind of like getting one finger in closer if you know what i mean, dammit why did i have to go there? Colts and Kimbers you show to your friends,Glocks and Sigs you show to your enemies.
