A birthday message to my son.
Dear Ryo chan, happy birthday.
I hope that you are not too disappointed that I chose not to get you the (most very excellent) M16 air rifle that you wanted so very much. I know how much you wanted the air rifle. I'm very sorry that I didn't get it for you. However I hope you do enjoy the alternative present that I and your ojiisan and your younger brother Ryu kun picked out for you instead. I just felt that since the medicine is working so well, that a bigger step forward would be something better, and I believe easier for you to handle. You will find a picture of your new carbine here:
It's the 4th one at the bottom of the page.
I want you to know how much your Pops loves you. You have other presents besides the rifle and the accessories kit that comes with it, from your grandpa and from your brother. I have another special present for you too. On Sunday, this week, when we make our regular trip to the gun club and range, I will begin teaching you how to shoot your very own carbine rifle. I know it's nothing as fancy or as powerful as the weapons your brother owns, but it is a carbine and I know how much you like carbines. You master this weapon son and your Pops will get you a new rifle that is a little more powerful and will shoot considerably further.
You are already the leading member of the Young Range Masters Club at the range, and in September you will become a fully qualified Junior Range Safety Officer at the club. I am so proud of you Ryo chan. You are my most very excellent son. I hope you will cherish the Walther G22 Black A 3 Carbine for the rest of your life and always remember it as your first rifle and that this was the rifle you learned to shoot with as well.
Aishiteru my little Ryo kun.
Love from your,
