Top Sniper

The first two hours have been great to watch. Tomorrow night it is on again with 2 more hours of the match. This match was 9 days long with 17 stages of fire for the match. Would love to do the shooting out of the helo they was doing. Man that would have been great to do. The SWAT team from PA. had the must hits from the helo. Great shooting guys.

Top Sniper II

Ok, guys this was a great show to watch. The match has been going on now for 8 years. This match is 9 days long with 18 stages of fire for the match with 33 teams in it.

Tonight they had a couple of great stages of fire where the teams had targets at unknown ranges. The spotter had 1 1/2 minutes from a shiper hide to range all targets and plot them. Then the shooter got into the sniper hide with the spotter looking over the top of the hide when they would tell the team what target to engage. They would open the door of the sniper hide for the sniper and the spotter to range the target together for 1 minute. Then the door would close. After 30 seconds the door would open for the sniper to engage the target in 10 second before the door close again. At the same range the teams were at that morning. The teams were there again but at night to shoot again at targets at unknown ranges. This stage of fire was a lot harder in the darkest. The teams were using IR to see the targets. One of the teams IR was not working and he had to use his night vision with the scope to shoot the stage. After the stage of fire he had been kissed by the scope 8 times with a nice scope kiss above his eye. The good time about this is his team won that stage of fire.

They had some great stages that the guys had to fire they pistol in a couple of stages. The Army Markmenship Unit did win the over all match. The AMU team was fun to watch and I guess they had a lot of fun in the woods. The rifle that the sniper was using from the AMU team was a JP Enterprise MOR-07 rifle. Again a great show.
