Did you ever throw your hugger (aka, coozie. ya know the sock you put your beer in to keep it cold longer), out the car window and keep the empty can by mistake?
P.S., it used to be legal to drink and drive in TX.

Nope, never threw

my coozie out the window. But I used to marvel at the drive up liquor stores in Wyoming heading up to Flaming gorge. Legal in WY for everyone but the driver to be whooping it up (least it used to be).

Me and the ex-paw in law (part time SL county sheriff) cruising to the UT/WY boarder in Evanston, pull off just inside WY to a place called Porters......Load up on beer and malt liquor and I would drink from there till we came back into UT........Half of Flaming gorge resevoir is in UT and half is in WY, but from Evanston on most of the time you are in WY..........

If I remember right from my years in TX, what you procured from the drive up liquor store was referred to as a "roadie"....back in the day.

back in the day

you could go to the drive up window and get any kind of drink that you wanted and drink and drive in Florida, long since changed.

When lived I Albuquerque, New Mexico, bout all Stores had drive up windows. Then the burokratz thought windws should be against the law. They said (in part) its drink'n and driv'n. Now ain't they just brilliant?? They closed up the windows, now you have to park, go in and buy, go out and get back in yer car and then drive off. Smart, this keeps you from drinking???? Ooo!! buy the way_______ New Mexico, is mostly Democrats_____Magin that!!

Yes! but if you use a pair of winter wool socks for your Beer, its better in humid places. In Texas your better off with WHITE cotton socks (Hanes Brand) they hold the cold in better. Ask Schyler to explain the humidity factor, versus altitude in keping liquids cool. He is much better explaining it.
