Off topic, for sure
a good friend and coworker of mine has been diagnosed with lung cancer, it is operable according to the powers that be, please say a prayer for him. For various reasons that has consumed vast amounts of my time, a friend in need is a friend indeed! Change you can truly believe in comes from the barrel of a gun---------------------------------------------------------------------------------Ron Paul 2012----Vote the bastards out!--------------------------------- |

Best wishes for uour friend. I had a friend who had lung cancer but survived having a lung removed and was able to return to work, unfortunatly the guy just couldn't quit smoking after the surgery. I;m dealing with cancer myself. Docs say from agent orange. Having my 5th surgery to remove tumors April 26th. Was clear of cancer for a while but it keeps coming back. Everyone has their cross to bear but you can still live a good life.

Best wishes for a speedy recovery, friend.

hoping all truns out right for him
you too bad_landing, I've a few friends here in Saint Petersburg that keep having the same happen with them. AO is actually one of the main causes of the Cancers they are seeing down at the VA here.

My uncle Jim suffered immensely from Agent Orange from Viet Nam until his death in 2006, so I've seen what it does to people. Very sad.

Will keep this simple, sure thats appreciated for what it's worth the sp checks in hidding again to.. Really doesn't matter, i always say a little prayer before typing one that what ever i say reflects something more than greg.. that cross over there, and the "padre" thing mean the world to me.. guess this is relaveant as part of the c club as well.. I pm'd vaq the other day that i was having tests.. after failing radiation twice and going from a bad prognosis (warned ya on the sp check lol) to one that looks a hundred percent better i know what Hamps friend Steve (hope thats ok Hamp) Bad Landing, Ebear, and others know.. That life is precious.. and looking at the end of it makes you appreciate everything in it.. My test came back wonderful.. I thanked God for them all day yesterday.. Now i'd like to ask him to hear this prayer for those of you who need it..
Lord.. Thank you for friends who really care.. For all of those on here who express concern about others, and for those who only share that concern with you.. We pray that you might be with Steve, Bad landing, Dave, Ed, and all those who ask for your help.. We pray that if it's your will you might be with all of them, and all of us.. and know how much we appreciate this life you've given us.. Guide us to show that appreciation to you, to others, and to do our best to make those around us proud to be our friends and family.. We also ask that you might hold all who are in your need in the palm of your hands, please take from Steve, Bad landing and all who might be sick or ill any unhealthy cell.. Please restore and protect the health of all.. Guide us to be the best we can be always Lord, and to know whats really important in life is faith in you.. trust in others.. love of family and friends.. and if it's your will.. fix that truck of runs.. yep humor.. little help with my sp check wouildn't hurt either.. Lord.. know the sincerity of our prayers for those who need them, and be with us always... in his holy name.. amen..

could be me in a minute, I smoked for twenty odd years, quit four years ago. Steve smoked for twenty eight years, quit ten years ago (he is 48)......I guess we all pay for our shortcomings in life, there is always a price. He has some domestic issues (which are his to bear) that factor into this mess, I digress, his business, but his friends and coworkers of many years have got his back and will do anything in our power to help, I have said it before and I will say it again...A FRIEND IN NEED IS A FRIEND INDEED!

think we all understand why you needed a place to get away from it.. guessing no words can discribe what you and the wife went thru.. honestly (from my heart and soul) glad you can say that about her being clear..
Hamp.. no way to avoid it to start with, but i think prayers a lot like any sort of giving.. the less talk and more doing the better.. so no more talk (less you pm) but know that you have my comitment that he will be in mine each and every day till i hear from you he's well..
Guys .. I believe in my heart and soul that the Lord hears all our prayers with the same ear.. that old boy living out of a grocery cart has the same power of prayer as a minister.. I really am uncomfortable talking about this.. The Jewish tradition of doing things with out any reward applies here.. If your wearing it on your sleave then the prayers are for the wrong reason. I really believe that.. I also believe that i've been blessed a lot more than i deserve so if i can help anyone send me a pm.. UNLESS you want otherwise it stays in pm..
MattyTheJet
I admire your faith, even envy it a little.
greg az
nothing to admire brother.. pretty much promise i have more need of forgivness than others..
Guess whats important is i feel like i have both that forgivness and love with our Lord.. Be careful to always lead a life that you can be proud of.. I didn't.. I am now, but duh...obvious why.. Some things related to violence before i joined the dept. and while i was in Florence that im a long way from proud of.. Always take the moral high ground.. saves a lot of up hill climbing later..

I always try to take the moral high ground, the fact that so many people around me lower the bar makes it easier. I just sometimes have a hard time believing, I guess, because of all the horrible things I see on a daily basis. LOL, look who I'm telling, huh? I try, but sometimes it's just so hard, you know?

package is on the way, you evidently live in the boonies from what the UPS Manager said. lol
