Can anyone tell me how deep the three grooves for the three screws that attach the bayonet mount/heat shield to the gun have to be?
Surely the barrel thickness for the military bound guns wasn't any different from the civilian guns, or were they?

I'll sign later. Right now we're getting acquainted.

not sure on the measurement you are after but i know for a fact that the barrels are the same on civilian models
