I AM HOPING WE HAVE MORE THAN TWO MEMBERS, AT THIS POINT. IT SEEMS, GS IS GOING DOWN THE TUBES, JUST LIKE THE GOOD OLD USA.

TRUMP--I have often wondered what the derivation of this name could be. I guess if you are hopelessly addicted to the card game called "Bridge", that is where it came from.

BUT NO!!! If you are a student of the Bible, you know that, in English, that word is the shortened version of the word "Trumpet". Trumpets have a prominent place in both the OLD and NEW testaments. Trumpets were used in religious services, and to express great joy, or to signal something important was about to happen [ like the coronation of a King], or when going to war. [ remember the walls of Jericho?]

In the early history of the Jews, the Hebrew word for "trumpet" was "Shofar" [a Ram's horn]. No one seems to know WHO invented the Shofar, except for the fact that there were instructions from the Almighty, on when and where it was to be sounded. From a religious perspective, it became a belief, therefore, that when a shofar is sounded, the voice of God is being heard. Indeed, many Christian clergy, use the Shofar to bring the voice of God to bless their congregations. There are many biblical references to the Shofar, but the first appears at Exodus 19:16 [others appear at Lev.23:24; Deut 30:2; Numbers 3:15 and 29:1].

Does any of this have anything to do with DONALD TRUMP?? Well-- If you enjoy speculating in religious mysticism, as I do, there might be some parallels here. Donald seems to be an equivocal Christian. He claims to be a Presbyterian, yet he does not remember ever asking for God's forgiveness. His pronouncements are loud but roughly pure sounding----LIKE A SHOFAR----yet his voice contains "painful TRUTHs", as does the voice of God.

Might it be, that TRUMP has been raised by the Almighty, to be God's omnipresent Shofar; to signal to all in the USA, that something extraordinarily important is about to happen, in the life of this blessed Country??

first and subsequent 'debates', watered down Q&A sessions. I'm hopeful there will be a break-out so the truth about the candidates will come out. Rather than 'debates' perhaps coordinated
interviews, open the topic then let the candidate have 15 minutes to spew his position and at the same time respond to other topics from the other candidates.
The "debates" of the recent past were a near perfect waste of time.

Yes, I'd not want to see Gunslot lost to negligence. I believe the owners are content letting it waste away.
I saw that Runnygun came back for a visit but did not post, too bad, I'm curious how life as Army Retired is treating him. He'd wanted to have a gun shop or some such if my memory serves.

that it's not a worry but they are not making enough to cause them to invest a little time. It'll probably coast along like this for years. What a waste.
Maybe we'll get lucky and they'll sell it to someone who gives a shit, ya think?

This is Curious

and VERY hard to understand. Why put in so much effort to build a successful product, and then allow it to die a neglected death??

"CRASHED and FAILED REPAIR" !!!!?????
