I have an appointment tomorrow with
the Dr that replaced the lenses in
my eyes. He should say "All's good".
It's been so long since I've been
able to even see the front sight I
may not be able to hit the paper at
15yds but I have to drive past the
range anyway so I'm taking the Chief's
Special. I'll start off easy then
move up to the 1911A1 .45 later.
I'm as anxious as the first time I
went to the range to shoot a Tommy
(Rock&Roll)gun!
If anyone gives a shit I'll let you
know how my eyes and the Smith work :<)
green lens ones, look like old
time pilot's glasses but they cost
a small fortune when I bought
them 25-30 years ago. Look like
the glasses the MC cops wore in
"Magnum Force". I think my "ears"
are with the lawn mower in garage
though.

Unfortunately vision was not
the "first thing to go". My
desire to be gainfully employed
predeceased my vision by 20 years!
The surgeries were a success. I
went from Mr. Magoo to 20/20 with
2 surgeries within a month. Now
I really look at things amazed
with what I can see!! :<)
