i got the tool in the mail today and it won't budge, any suggestions

but I hear that sometimes their stock tubes get pinched into the bin. may want to try using some heat. what type of wrench did you get? may want to try channel locks.

yea...

i tried channel locks before i ordered this spanner from dpms; mostly it just scratching up the stock nut__awesome gun, but i would like the single point attach sling

try running a bead of good penetrating oil such as break free at the seam and position the rifle on end so gravity will allow the oil to seep down the threads to loosen it up a little.
