Are there any prerequisite training requirements for the FBI, ATF, CIA etc? Thanks in advance.

Now this answer could be very very long, or 2 lines long. so imma go with the medium answer.
there are different types of training for each job in each branchif you want CIA youll need a degree in psychology along with many other requirements but for ATF youll need prolly a degree in science as well as many other sets of skills and training. your best bet is if your a younger guy, join the military for 4 years and that will get you a great start then get maybe a Bacholers in criminal justice and an associates in science, but use the specific companies websites to find precise requirement

Yeah

Criminal justice is not what the FBI is lookin for. That's LLE and State police stuff.

All Federal agencise require a 4 year degree in just about any discipline. Business and Science degrees are much more desirable than a Criminal Justice degree. You can't have reached your 37th birthday by the time you are hired and it sometimes takes 2 years to get hired by a federal agency.

Bottom line, get a 4 year degree from an accredited university and don't have bad credit, arrest record or drug use history and you'll make the first cut. Once you've made that cut then you'll go through a battery of other testing, background checks, review boards, etc.

Great jobs, but you have to be willing to live anywhere when you start and not make "great" money. After you've been there a few years, you'll have a better choice of assignment locations and you're pay will increase pretty rapidly; easily make over $100k/year after some time on the job.

because I got turned downed twice for Air Marshal Service because of my age, despite 26 years of military service. Each agency has different age requirements too and sometimes different within the agency, depending on job. IN the CIA field agents have a different requirement than say office workers, etc...of course I assume you want to do field work...so don't delay.
