I missed on a chance to get a very nice Glock 30 today. I have been saving for my AR build. Waiting for next week so I can order my upper and complete my rifle. Then I had second thoughts but, missed on the Glock. Glock was 5 bills.

Now that I have a chance to see the going price 5 bills isn't that good of a deal. I think I made the right choice and finish my AR first.

Yep finish your AR first. Glocks will be in good supply and aren't hard to find. Usually.

so you made a good choice! My buddy was going to get a 30 about a week ago, and several different dealers said to hold off till they got them fixed........Some kind of FTE problem! He ordered a 36 with night sights instead.

Something from LT

was it not, or is that out the window due to the logistics/communication problem you had? No matter, what ever you get it will be cool, most everyone makes quality stuff.

LBC and Hamp, I've got my eye on a DPMS 16" A3 flat top with A2 flash hider and M4 feed ramps. You have to keep a sharp eye out and make sure you are comparing apples for apples when it comes to assembled uppers. Everyone I am checking out has the exact same price. I originally was going to have 2 AR's when I figured out (duh) all I have to do is switch uppers. I also want a 20" varminter so I can go out with my buddies. The company TLtactical works for has what I want, so I thought I would give him first crack at the sale. I have bought stuff from Dynamic Armament as well, and they have been great to deal with. Both companies are in Arizona by the way.

Hamp- My cousin was literally down the street from TL's shop but I couldn't get an address, or verify they had what I needed in stock. I was hoping for something fast to happen. It just didn't work out for me this time. I guess it wasn't meant to be.

I have my two AR's which I can modify (uppers as you mentioned), I got plenty of shit to shoot regularly, I am focusing on (somewhat collectable) stuff for my kid's in the future......and don't think I won't get any enjoyment out of these rifles...lol, It's gonna be cool!

Very nice. I plan on growing my collection. I have already told my middle child he gets the collection when I go to meet my maker someday. He wants to be a diesel mechanic. So after he finishes up school by December he'll be going to UTI here in So Cal. He is such a good kid. He tells me he is going to buy me the truck I want and we will have the best collection of guns in the west. The Ruger 10/22 (in stainless) is scoped is his when he turns 18. Which is 6 to 7 months from now.
