US gun store owners deny they are source of gangs' weapons
But American gun store owners say it is unlikely gangs are getting many weapons from them. Charles Wagnon, who owns Tex-Guns in Austin, Texas, says no one comes here to buy an arsenal. "There is certainly not anybody here buying anything in any kind of quantity to pass them on," he said. Wagnon says he cannot obtain or sell fully automatic rifles or grenade launchers like the ones being used by criminal gangs in Mexico. It's 106 miles to Chicago, we got a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it's dark, and we're wearing sunglasses |

Well most gang members are ex felons so that would make it almost impossible to buy a gun from a store here in the U.S. So lets see how else could a gang member get a gun?????? How about a home invasion, or robbery of a gun store, or in a stolen car, how about the black market, or mabey some poor sap who is getting his home foreclosed and doesnt care who he sells his guns too. Food for thought.

I think most gunshop owners know the Feds are watching very close right now.But iam willing to bet home invasions are number one place to ontain firearms/

mexican gang members get their shit in mexico, we need to just bomb that fucking place.

They have members who join the military for experience, they have members who buy guns, and they know large gun purchases draw attention. Mexican drug cartels don't get their shit from our gun stores, they get them as partial payment fro trafficking from other countries. of course i have no source for this statement, but common sense would tell you that paying 600-800 for a semi auto AK and then smuggling it into mexico is much less desirable than paying 300 for a military AK or G3 and having it smuggled in from the south along with a drug shipment.
