I just put a Vanek trigger in my Glock tonight and it is as smooth as silk. Well, it's still not a 1911, but it is as smooth as I think you can a Glock and makes a world of difference. It is supposed to bring it down to a 2.5lb pull, but I haven't tested it yet. This is not a carry gun, it's my competition gun. I went to a local shooting competition that me and about 15 other guys do every Friday evening, it's set up to be good practice for IDPA, and I placed 1st with this little puppy in there. I usually place 3rd or sometimes 2nd. I don't think gun adjustments can make somebody a good shooter, but it certainly helped in the speed catagory. It's very easy to install yourself, I did it and it's the first time I had ever broken down a Glock beyond field stripping. THere is no permanent modification to the Glock and the one I put in is legal for IDPA SSP. Just thought I would share.
