Here was the original message by a veteran:

I had a doctor's appointment at the local VA clinic yesterday and found something very interesting I would like to pass along. While going through triage before seeing the doctor, I was asked at the end of the exam, three questions.

(1. Did I feel stressed?)
(2. Did I feel threatened?)
(3. Did I feel like doing harm to someone?)

The nurse then informed me, if I had answered yes to any of the questions, I would have lost my concealed carry permit as it would have gone into my medical records and the VA would have reported it to Homeland Security.

I am a Viet Nam vet and 15 year cc permit holder. Looks like they are going after us vets

to me. The VA, in cohoots with Homeland Security is somehow going to FORCE a State, to pull a CCP!? How are they going to do that, especially when the VA cannot demonstrate the validity of their "test"?

This post/email is highly suspect.

I have reasons for the things I do, just don't expect them to be reasonable

What you are saying is true when I was at the VA hospital in Marion, IL. with my husband in march while he was seeing the doc for his cpap machine. A guy was talking about it sitting two seats away from me and the doc he was talking to told him and us sitting around him if any of use had CCP'S and if we were going to see any of the other doc's to say no to any of these questions. So yes they are asking these questions to the Vet's.
And it would be a cold day in hell before they would take any of my guns away from me becasue I would go out fighting and take a bunch of them out.....

This is BS

These are now standard questions asked by military medical providers. I have been asked these questions, along with others, many times over the past few years for pre-and post-depolyment medical screenings. During my first post-deployment screening, I answered "yes" to twelve questions, and four "yes" answers are considered high-risk. I have my CCP, got it with no problems, and haven't been visited by any men in dark suits. But I think that's because they know better after the men in the light suits didn't come back.
