Wasr-3 ak 47 any reviews Good/Bad
Just picked up a Romanian wras -3 in .223 cheap. anybody have have a review or thoughts on them? haven't had a chance to shoot it yet. See, I'm a man of simple tastes. I like dynamite, and gunpowder... And gasoline! Do you know what all of these things have in common? They're cheap!

i have a romy sar AK in 223 it works great.no issues with it at all.

don't know much on ak's just that they can go through hell and just keep's going.

I got some time off work so I plan on taking it our Monday the 3rd to do some shooting, I will give a full report Monday night.

This is the commercial export version of the WASR and is chambered in 5.56x45 or .223 Remington
My complaints are:
#1 that the barrel wasn't threaded to accept a muzzle brake.
#2 it does not like plastic mags( fitment is really tight) jammed a few times with these which I had heard before so I picked up some of the Weiger mags, they worked great with no issues.
Overall, I was very pleased with the rifle and would recommend it to anyone that would like to stick one rifle caliber.

I had one of these about 10 years ago. Bought it for 400 from a dealer in redmond oregon. It had 5 red bakalite mags. It never jamed, shot real well. Sold it for 700 about a year after I owned it. Now wish I hadn't.
