Did anyone buy into this today.. IIPO had it at 42 to open.. 4,200 for a block.. hmmm

that could have been the best IPO .. One of those (i could have had Winnebego for 5$ things).. Or the worst.. We had some lose money due to the house and stuff.. things that never happen.. So i gave it some thought.. Don't know if i made "another" stupid mistake here.. know how Warren feels, and guess when GM droped its paid FB advertising..(could have been a market drop ploy).. they have a page but no paid ad stuff.. time will tell..

So anybody want to admit to buying in.. we don't talk $ here.. so just in or out will do..

Facebook IPO

Nope. I know a wooden nickle when I see one. I did however buy 100 rds of 12 gauge ammo at Wal-mart yesterday for $22.99, there was a deal worth hitting!

IPO

Never gave it a thought. The market hates me. I lost money on Wal-mart stock, yeah really. Got in on an IPO once, made pocket money on it later, nothing to tell about. Made some decent money on exotic animals though. Boer Goats. I'll leave it at that.

didn't know (still don't) sheet bout the markets.. In 83 or 4 somewhere in there they legalized gold for ownership.. i did follow news.. so my daily run back then was a loop that brought me back to my apt past a Mir/lyn stock dealer.. I swing in.. all sweaty and REAL different from anyone else in the office.. I can see no ones all that excited about waiting on me.. i had 400 bucks in my savings account.. as it happens this was right at the price of gold.. maybe even more.. anyway i was looking to buy a Krugerrand.. Smart salesman talks me into buying BLV.. this was a polish co. (blaverovitch or close) that had a gold mine in S Africa.. couple weeks later im on my run the salesman steps out.. Says its close to doubled and their talking about nationalizing foreign companies.. turned out this was less that truthful, he just wanted his commission..but my one stock till (04) was the purchase of a polish gold mine in S Africa. and a sweet deal for me.. Should have stoped then..

lost his ass.
My Bro bought a lot of gold bar looking thingies from a coin dealer in the 80's, the value went through the roof-----3 or 4 years AFTER he sold them.
Gotta be a Geo. Soros to really hit it big I guess.

the "handyman" who is doing the three home repairs that were found in the inspection turns out to be a bmw ridder.. and a hack guy on top of everything.. told him (as i've told you) that i've never driven a hack.. he and the wife did the trans alaskan.. BMW boxer.. started as a 1974 7 now a 1K and still has one disk front and drum back..

looked into required shipping from some really far off places like CZ, Lith, Bul and San Francisco.
If it was close by and reasonable I'd be tempted but Yugo always comes to mind LOL
