It was a spur of the moment trip to a range I had never been to before. I got to shoot my cousins Sig Sauer M4 and his XDm (40) pistol. Both were awesome. I tell you that XDm has 16+1 and he went thru a box of 50 in a friggen heartbeat. The recoil was a little snappier than my P229 because of it being a polymer gun. Snappy but very manageable. I took the Ruger 10/22 and put 500 thru it. Spent a little more time trying to sight it in. Here comes the down side. First there was an idiot with a 22 and a banana clip shooting up everyone's target but his own. This range makes you leave a deposit for the stand because it is made out of cheap PVC. Well this guy leaves and other people were complaining as well about this guy. They wouldn't listen to anyone. I said screw that range there is one closer to my house anyway. Ok you got me for ten once, but it won't happen again. The worst part came when we left the rifle range and went to the pistol range up the hill. At the far end of the pistol range were a group of Idiots! I say this because there were 10 to 12 of them and they were sharing one handgun. It was a Glock but, that doesn't matter. They all took a full clip and fired down range while holding the gun sideways! Yes Gangsta style.... Yes they all looked like wanna be gangbangers, all dressed the same, same hat blah blah blah. They didn't even have a target to shoot at. I showed everyone I was with, the only girl that was there, had her cell phone shooting video of these morons. Probably to post on You tube or something.........I just don't get it........guess I never will.

LBC, I love to go shooting. It is the greatest stress reliever besides sex! I didn't take a camera this time but I did save the target, I'll post it later. This range was letting guys put out milk cartoons and bowling pins type stuff. Can anyone please tell me why these guys would have a problem with me putting a "softball" not a baseball, in the back at 210 yards? A bowling pin is many times harder than a softball......

yeah, a few idiots can really put a damper on things. But yeah, somebody should have been there to keep things in order right?
