I have a CHL and my carry guns are, Glock 21 and also a Springfield XD40SC.

I may trade the Glock 21 for another .45 on a 1911 frame. I would like to find a Colt Commander.

I carry a Glock 19 in a FIST,INC #42 Holster. It is a cross draw and it cants out of the way when driving. No need to remove it. Just push it back up when you get out of the car.

Better to have a gun and not need it then need one and not be able to get one… And – Why do I carry a gun? Because a cop is too heavy…

Fobus is a manufacturer of holsters. There polymer holsters were one of the first on the market and are deemed by many to be the best at carry and retention.

It's great, not too loose and not too hard. I have nothing but good things to say about the XD's. My dad has the XD .40 and he loves it also. Great shooting gun that comes back on target pretty quick for a .45. In fact I am thinking about selling mine when Springfield comes out with the .45 in the new XDm series.

The Springfield XDM in a 45 acp and the 40 S&W was the pistols I was looking at. They had both of them, XDM 40 was $608 with 2 16 round mags. and the XDM 45 was $561 with 2 13 round mags. Good price for them.

I carry my h&k usp45 compact in a fobus paddle or a general use shoulder holster. Not much variety in holsters for this model, plenty for the 9mm or 40 cal though.

I carry a Glock 18 in a Don Hume IXB holster of Galco kydex paddle holster, and a Glock 26 in a Galco belt slide holster on my weak side. I used to carry my G19, two mags, pepper spray, handcuffs, and asp baton in a pocket in my son's diaper bag. Off-body carry isn't just for women with purses. Babies really are good for something.

Why do I carry two guns? Because I don't have three hands.
