What is the freest state for firearms?
I live in WA, which is kinda OK as it is a 'will issue' state, but what I want to know is, which is the freeset state in the USA with regards to firearms, ownership, castle status, rules, and regs? Any ideas? "All that is necessary for the triumph of evil is for good men to do nothing." - Edmund Burke

No permit required. You live there, that's your permit.
I don't know if it's the freest, though. Maybe others will comment.

Idaho.shall isssue state, reciprocity of outside permits and vice versa is excellent and a loaded gun in a vehilcle as long as it isnt concealed is ok.

how about open carry in a vehicle?

Its also will issue, and open carry. CCW's are reciprical with 5 or 6 western states. you can carry loaded in vehicle. (just tell O when stoped) and castle doctrin while not on the books is practised. Also its not unusual once out of our two cities to actually see open carry. Guessing this would be a big no no in lots of states. Also VERY few business have any disclaimers on weapons marked on doors. Sam might correct me here for Tucson. Lived there for years, but some time back..

Arizona does too. As for "freest", that's a difficult one to answer without specific criteria. Does Vermont allow machine guns and supressors? AK and AZ do. AK has a CCW permit if you want, but they don't require it.

to jump thru hoops and take classes but they will issue permits now. We can carry concealed/loaded in a vehicle as long as it's under the permit holders control/access. NH does require a permit but I think the requirements are no criminal record an you have to have at least one breath left in ya. They also allow silencers and I believe you can get a permit for auto.
