What Gun Magazines do you read?
I get Guns & Ammo, Combat Handguns, and Concealed Carry. Combat Handguns is my favorite, it's very informative. "Two flags fly above my land that really sum up how I feel. One is the colors that fly high and proud the red the white the blue. The other ones got a rattlesnake with a simple statement made, Don’t Tread On Me is what it says" |

Ebear

Vaquero
the 9.95 for the mag is cheap compared to all the " I gotta have it" stuff they review and advertise.
I think ya'll probly figgerd out by now, I am a gunaholic. I fell off the wagon hard when I found this site.
luckybychoice
cheap and ugly like a box of winchester whites running thru a Glock.
Ebear
One of the reasons i got rid of the XD was cause someone said it looked like a Glock!!!
luckybychoice
nice stretch then going with the sig,way to break out on your own gun trail, lol. ever wonder why "SIG SAUER" translates to "malfunction" in English? Nah Nah Na Boo Boo! oh yah! want some bacon to go with that sizzle!!! and the crowd goes wild! and the Nobel Peace Prize for outstanding slam on a Sig Owner goes to....LBC. I humbly accept this award on behalf of all the Glock owners on Gunslot.
Ebear
you poor demented fucknutt!!! they other day i was getting my daughters ices skates down from the hook in my garage, and it snagged, One skate slipped out and hit me in the head and opened a gash above my left eye.brow. i could'nt see because the blood was pouring into my eye, therefore i could'nt drive myself to the hospital..I grabbed my Sig and brushed it across my wound. 3 seconds later the cut closed it self my blood count regained its original count and no scar whatsoever!!!!...another Sig Miricle!!!!!
luckybychoice
I suppose the blessed virgin mary statue you have in your hall way had nothing to do with that little miracle! well okay that sounds reasonable, guns work in mysterious ways. What were you gonna do with the ice skates?perform Dental surgery? It was a movie ebear,i have my eye on a Sig Blackhawk 9 mm on gunbroker but i don't want a loaded chamber indicater or the day glo foam dice that goes with it.

daisycutter

I really don't read gun magazines, I put bullets in them.
traderjac
I never learned to read, so I save my money on Mgazines
greg az
i dont think its a china deal daisy, its formated "the news print thing" like shotgun news. and for sale right along side of it.. pretty sure its printed and produced here..all the ads are the same, and more guns for sale than SGN, maybe me, but have you noticed how SGN doesnt have as many guns for sale as they usta
samD
Asshole paper person put all the ads in a plastic wrapper and left my paper out to soak...

When it was it's worst I finally went to a chiropractor that advertises he does acupuncture. The jerk twisted me, pulled me. It felt like I was going to be paralysed. When he finished I was worse off than when I went in so I asked him when the needles? He said he did'nt think I wanted to spend the extra $25. At that point, if I could have raised my arm, I would have kicked his stupid, hillbilly ass.
Lots of ibuprofen later (2days) I finally got to where I could move again without tears.
I feel your pain.
ecaman
What a horrible experience! My older daughter (who's very well educated) swears by her chiropractor. I've always looked on them as charlatans. I've only been to one in my life, and he didn't help or hurt - just took my money.
Pkato
Guns & Ammo and my First Freedom Magazine (NRA)...but do look at stuff almost every night online...too numerous to mention here.

are the best thing since collared greens. I'd only been to one once before and that was when I was 13yo but my wife was going to this one for her expensive back rubs or whatever he does when they go into the room, lock the door with a do not disturb sign on the door. He must be doing her some good, they both come out with grins on their faces!

I walked with a limp for years and found out my
hips were out of alignment. A Chiropractor fixed
me up. Lasted 5 years then another alignment.
My dad is 87 and walks bent over ( he has a right to)
a Chiropractor has him almost straight now..
Not saying they are for everyone but I think they
have their place in life.
ecaman
That's something else I've always believed about chiropractors. Just like male gynecologists.

if I have back, leg or other issues, I simply await my next return trip to Thailand and get a Thai massage or oil massage or any other special massage listed on the board that day! In the end, a Happy Ending can be gotten for additional charges. Now, granted, rarely have they ever cured a backache or any pain, but for some reason I usually forget about the pain...at least for a while!

Vaquero, unless you are a high tech redneck who takes his laptop into the shitter with you, hard copy mags are not obsolete. Ebear, I believe you that your Sig cured a wound. Sigs cure wounds, Glocks make them. Glock wins as a gun. Again. I don't read many gun mags anymore. I used to get everything that hit the newsstands. Hastings has so many goddamned different gun mags, it would take us to our second page already. I finally figured out that with all the money I was spending looking for new guns and accessories, I could have been buying ammo and accessories that I already knew I needed. I used to buy SWAT for training tips, but again, the savings from not buying magazines let me buy more ammo to train on the techiques I already knew were effective. So I get a mag every once in a while, but I bounce back and forth from Small Arms Review, to 8-Lug, Diesel Power, Fuck the Mexicans (not really, but it's a good idea, right?), Guns, and American Handgunner. As for Chiropractors, they're not even really doctors, are they? Not that being a doctor is a big deal to me, as I have known some physician's assistants who i would rather see than any doctor, but chiropractors aren't really medical personnel. I see them in the same category as those feng shui interior decorator people.
Vaquero
No, I still marvel at the flat tvs in front of the urinals.
When I shit, it's like everything else I do, get it over with and move on.
Yep, that's what she says.
Pkato
Am I the only one that finds it strange that Runaway even knows anything about Feng Shui???

in my head is absolutely staggering. Especially when you consider how many brain cells have been destroyed by drugs, alcohol, and explosions. Like I say, I have two brain cells left, and one's chasing the other around in my head trying to kill it. Every once in a while I'll have a coherent thought, but the downside to that is a horrible headache and some drool.
daisycutter
with Feng shui, Desk Sgts have plenty of time to rearrange paper clips and staple guns around their desks.
runawaygun762
I have an automatic, electric stapler. No rearranging necessary. Shows what you know about the exciting life of desk sergeants.
daisycutter
few years, technology has left me behind :<)
I'm glad you're part of the Army team!
runawaygun762
This desk sergeant, all garrison, non-deployable unit bullshit is ridiculous. I can't wait to get the fuck out of this place. I LOVE the area, would love to retire here, but Ft Huachuca is a civilian run fucking joke. For every vehicle you see with a uniform driving it, you'll see 8 to 12 vehicles with some fucking civilian puke who's drawing a paycheck for nothing. There is no camraderie here, no discipline, and people don't give a shit about each other. Hell, there's no reason to. In Ft Riley, the camraderie was there because you KNEW you would be deploying with your company or platoon, and you KNEW you would have to be able to rely on your buddies to do what they could to bring you back. This place is not the army and I fuckin hate it. But a call to the MP branch manager in Virginia shows very few places open for an E6 that are deployable. I'm waiting on word now of a possible move to Gitmo. It's a one year unaccomanied tour and it has all the pay and tax exempt status of Iraq or Afghanistan, plus COLA, so people there actually make more money than they do in a combat zone. My bid for an Afghanistan deployment met with failure, maybe this'll happen. I'd still rather go back to Iraq. I'm at least somewhat comfortble there.
