what would be some of the reasons to be armed..???
Flu Outbreak Declared a Pandemicposted:2 HOURS 37 MINUTES AGOcomments: 157 APThe World Health Organization declares a swine flu pandemic, the first official global flu outbreak in 41 years, as the worldwide total of cases nears 30,000. "The virus is now unstoppable," says WHO chief Margaret Chan. The organization calls on drugmakers to speed up production of a vaccine. I have reasons for the things I do, just don't expect them to be reasonable |

If something happens that moves you from condition YELLOW to condition RED, you will wish you were armed, if you are not.
If you do not know what I mean, you need to study the color code of mental alertness/awareness!!
ivantank
where do i find this TO study.???
LLE
that should get you plenty of readings.
ivantank
begin tomorrow thanks

After you learn the system, you have to CONSCIOUSLY remind yourself to use it, until it becomes second nature
luckybychoice
how about the 2 felons that went to the outdoor gun range acting like regular shooters, then turned their guns on the other 2 shooters that were there for target practice,Killed them both and took their guns, armed robbery of a bank was next then a shootout with the FBI,killing 2 or 3 ican't remember.
I Live condition yellow all the time, constantly asking myself "what if this ass does this or that"
Believe me i'm ready
Shakleford
Be armed from the moment you wake up till you lay down! Even while asleep keep two within reach!! Live in condition yellow, and live alot longer!

at least my pocket .25 at all times.
Next to bed is a pistol or two and the Winny 12 ga 18" bbl.
There is NO reason to be unarmed.
If a store or business is posted no guns, I then Don't shop there. I have cards made up telling them so. They Lose.
Most times I just consider the "No Guns" a mere suggestion. I don't generally heed it, because they aren't going to protect me.
I avoid most convenience marts, ie: 7-11, Circle K, etc., because that is where the asshole miscreants hangout. I don't smoke and slurpies give me a major sinus headache. Why go where trouble happens?
Safety is a thought process, never blindly stumbling into things. Be aware of your surroundings at all times!
ivantank
thats why you get the big money pal

You are referring to the infamous shootout in Miami in 1986 between FBI agents and two bank robbers named Platt and Matix. I know platt's first name is michael, but I can't remember Matix's first name. The car they were driving when the FBI initiated the shootout in a residential area was stolen from a man they shot in the everglades at a public area people used for plinking. That man lived, but barely. When I go shooting, I always have a loaded gun on me in addition to the one I'm training with and try to maintain distance from other shooters. I know it sounds cliche, but the reason for having a gun is the same reason for having a fire extinguisher in the car. It's better to have it and not need it, than need it and not have it.
ivantank
and i used it on my wife to bring guns into our home..having a fire extinguisher in the house is just in case you need it..having a mossberg .410 mounted on the side of my dresser is just in case i need it.also i took that a step further and am having a storm shelter put in my backyard..just in case...ok maybe i am going a little overboard
runawaygun762
South Carolina has been hit with some hellacious storms, so it makes sense. It would be going overboard to have a storm shelter here in southern AZ. As long as your preparations are reasonable for your area, it's not excessive. I wouldn't go through the expense of putting bars on my windows out here where I live, but in Birmingham, AL, or in the Orange Mound neighborhood in Memphis, TN, they are pretty much a necessity.
