ak's

i love them too. i have a chinese, and a romanian wasr single stack. the wasr is junk. it jams alot because of the mags, and is way less accurate than the chinese. they are excellent close quarters guns and just plain fun to shoot. you can always pick out the sound of an ak from others

if i could find a russian one than would be the best, but i only have a romanian wasr 10 with the regular AK mags its a great gun but the bolt sticks on the hammer if you let go of it slowly.

suport our troops where ever thay are!

AK are ok

Just not a big fan of them. Like the Remington 700 and an AR-10 and AR-15 the most. I have owned a couple AK's and they were ok. I like a rifle to be accurate.

With the "stock" wooden stock. I love the blonde look. purely aesthic as far as that choice goes. I unfortunately only have a romanian. It's...ok now that I have broken it in. Mine has an after market collapsible stock and an aftermarket aluminum pictany forend. Still would prefer a bulgarian as far as looks but definitely a russian just to say I have one XD

I am going to purchase one and Lancaster was one of the companies I looked at, what is your opinion of that weapon? I was in AZ trying to pickup the one I did order, ran out of time and didn't enough time to look further.

still haven't shot it yet. only had it for about a week, hopefully I will get some time to take it out tomorrow. It is really solid compared to other AKs I've handled. the furniture is beautiful. I've striped it down a couple of times and it has a lot of american parts. One of the guys that work at Lancaster kept saying how their rifles consistantly shoot 1"-2" groups at 100 yds, compared to most other AKs that shoot 4"-6" groups.

Russian with wood furniture. I never liked AK's while in the military. Something about the sound. Now that I am a fat civilian bastard, I love the recoil and accuracy is not bad....
