I happen to like my M1 Garand the most. I have killed several deer with it, keep it clean and oiled, and treat it like its made of solid gold
We're not going to just shoot the sons-of-bitches, we're going to rip out their living guts and use them to grease the treads of our tanks. Gen. George S. Patton

"WAR IS A RACKET, I spent most of my time being a high-class muscle-man for Big Business, for Wall Street, and for the Bankers." Major-General Smedley Darlington Butler USMC Ret. 2 time Medal of Honor winner.
Due to the sentimental value alone. I have hunted all over western Canada with that gun and shot many moose, deer, a few elk,a few bear and 1 mountain goat. It is old and beat up cosmetically, but it is still a good and accurate gun that has been mountain high and valley low. Every scratch remindes me of a good memory or friend that hunted with me ( some that are unforttunatly no longer with me ). I own more expensive hunting rifles, but the ol' 7mm for sentimental is my fave.
"Give me liberty or give me death". Patrick Henry, March 23,1775
this is the first brand new gun i ever bought and also the first gun i ever reloaded my own ammo for!
"There is a time for all things, a time to preach and a time to pray, but those times have passed away. There is a time to fight, and that time has now come." --Peter Muhlenberg, from a Lutheran sermon read at Woodstock, Virginia, 1776
but my S&W 6909 9mm and my ruger 10/22 the 9 has never failed me and my ruger has put sever deer down at 100+ yards with a head shot. we eat what we kill and a $0.02 bullet has drastically cut down on my meat bill at the store for my family of 4. i was offered $300 for it last fall and said hell no!!
Mossbergs are probably the most reliable weapon on the planet. I've owned and own at least 4 of them in my life time and shot them alot, i mean hundreds of rounds through them all and not one failure of any kind with any of them. I'm looking to buy another one soon this week or next, the tactical crusier, ooooh... has any body seen the new road blocker, it has a muzzel/comp as of a barret 50 cal. cool as hell and wicked looking to. wait i'll load it up to the site.
.45 SLC 1873 Colt SAA with no serial numbers on it. It was an heirloom, my great grandaddy got it just after the civil war. But some bastard stole it and if I ever find it, I will kill him with my bare hands.

The Socialists told us long ago that since they could not beat us with force, that they would destroy us slowly from within. So far it is working pretty well. MOLON LABE
My 10/22 has thousands upon thousands of rounds through it and has been used to take a ridiculous number of squirrel and rabbit. I used to clean the guns of my dad's friends in exchange for a 550 rd box of .22 ammo for each gun cleaned and most of the money I made working at Waffle House went on feeding my car, my SKS, or my 10/22. That rifle is great.
If you can't win their hearts and minds, then expose their hearts and minds to open oxygen. WHEN IN DOUBT, THIRTY OUT!!
When I was a kid I peeled a log truck full of logs, it took two weeks. As payment I got my first gun it was a lever action single shot Ithaca .22. I do not know how many grouse and deer I got with that thing but it was alot. I grew up poor so the ammo being cheap, and gun queit and deadly accurate it was perfect. I out grew the rifle when I was twelve or thirteen and I handed it down to another little kid thats family did not have much. This kid went on to be one heck of a good hunter.
all of you put up such good stories and/or good guns. Makes me think of home and my closet full of guns. I have to say though, growing up I always dreamed of the day my dad would let me take out his Sears and Roebuck .30-30. When that day finally came, it was the happiest moment of my life...until another certain moment heh heh. But to this day I still love that old lever action.
My 22 hp made by savage took more deer an coyotes with that ol gun i still have it an still does a good job.been handed down from my great granpa im the third owner.
to all of our vets fallen heroes thanks for the freedom.
I love my 9mm AR-15. I just love the platform. It eats whitebox 9mm walmart ammo with no problems. I have it accurate to 100 yards.
My favorite handgun is debatable. The walther P99 is sweet but a carry a PPS..
