None anymore

I've had two, a Taurus 606 2 1/8" factory ported .357 six shot, and a Colt Trooper MK 3 4" barrel .357 mag. Loved that Colt, that Taurus was fucking LOUD!!

As I have stated, I have been out of circulation a long time. Work and family. blah blah.
I really like rugers, rifles, M77 mkII.
What is a 101? caliber, finish, barrell length?
Well, if you feel like typing.

Hope i can get this before my router takes a wizz on me again.. been having problems past couple of days, and not in the mood to call India..
First off hats off to all me buds.. good to see ya all..
Heres my deal on wheel guns, I had collected 1911's like a lot of ya, and sold mine for what i thought was a good deal when we bought our home in Phoenix... Yeah right.. they doubled again a few years later (i had all WWII's no customs except for a couple of mods) . Anyway i got into collecting Victory models because A) thier cheap B) Still have that wonderful piece of history thing for them. C) cheap to shoot.. (for those who havent seen a victory i have a pic or two of mine on my profile page) So one thing led to another, including the wife being more happy with revolvers, so i got rid of my last autos, a star firestorm, and a Browning copy a few years ago, now only do revolvers, except for a couple of P-22 walthers i got as a his and hers deal. So list follows:
Obvioulsy have Victory models, all bbl lenghts, not complete for all services, but working on it. Also have a couple of mod 10's civilian, an airweight, a 19 K frame i just got in trade from my brother, a 586 L frame that sits in the nite stand. three snubies (the airweight) a Colt det spl, and a Tauras 85 both of which i gave to the wife. (the Colt is special, got it used but 100% of that Colt royal blue that they do so great) .. Then a couple of years ago i brought home a Colt pocket revolver in .32 colt. now have two of them, (2" & 4") both of these are whats called "flat latch" models, this was the old cylinder reliese that is just a piece of flat steel with a 90 to pull on, as opposed to the new (late 30"s) rounded reliese that is still used.. both of these are pre "positive" which is the saftey feature that lets you carrry one under the hammer.. thier fun to shoot but the little .32 (85gr) is not much of a round, i dont think it gets to 600 fps.. you can sorta step out of the way, but still fun to shoot a gun thats close to 100 years old..
OK im rambling.. just get excited about my revolvers.. Also have a couple of .22 (h&r's) and a great little Freedom arms 1" .22 that weighs less than runaways reft rut.. carry it with me always.... The Freedom arms, ebear wont let me touch runs reft anything..

Good evening Greg

Nice rundown on the revolvers. As far as "stepping out of the way" I am happier now shooting the slow accurate stuff. I spent a lot of time loading "hot" and shooting without hearing protection. The ringing never stops. I really like hearing boom, whap. BOOM alone just isn't the same

Just gives ya a good excuse with women.. "Honey i dind't hear ya ask that .. honest, you know my ears ring all the time".. Sorta neat at gun shows, you can tell those who have shoot for a long time thier all bent over cupping thier ears trying to hear each other..
I can understand rifle shooters wearing protection, but for me its always been tramping thru the desert, and NO WAY am i going to mask what little hearing i still have.. The hi tech stuff that lets normal vol level in and shuts out loud noise was not available till after i was ringing full time..

I honestly did try to wear mine out when a kid.. and without bragging sorta thought of myself as a blue ribbon winner it that department..
WOW.. don't know if it was the back problem, being an old married man, or part of the prostate thing im being treated for (yep the bad stuff, but guess its gona be ok) bottom line is all us geezers understand about the libido thing.. Then when ya DO get a woody ya forget what you were gona do with it...
Sorta like ear hair.. its a practicle joke from the good Lord to let us know he's got a since of humor..

Bought a Ruger black hawk years ago in 30 carbine.. I have no idea why, i had a universal 30 carbine at the time, and guess i was thinking about a matching sidearm for it.. Whatever it was not a shining morment in the "thought" department.. Anyway this was a LOUD gun. and Pretty cool to shoot at night.. it would have this rolling round flame out the bbl.. sorta like a miniture 16" battle ship.. Recoil wasn't that bad, but Wow baby was it loud.. Never could get it to group either.. but that could have been me.. Time for bed dudes.. later..

Greasy, it attaches

to the flat top. Greg, the real loud gun was the Taurus. A ported 2 1/8" barrel .357 is a loud sommamabitch when firing full power 357 loads.

I have an old .22LR RG 'Sat night special', a SW 642 .38sp, and a SW 696 .44sp. TBH has her Python (goin up for sale soon...i'ts been shot 24 rds in 4 years), her custom Colt King Cobra and her custom DSW 637.

I realllly want one of the NightGuard .44sp or .357 L-frames....but $700-800 for any handgun, esp.a revolver, is out of sight for me.
