Last summer there was discussion about an informal
meeting of GUNSLOT members who could make the trip.

The discussion was for a 2011 meeting.
Well 2010 is winding down and mabe it's
time to start making vacation plans for next summer
and meet eye ball to eye ball some of the people
we have been talking to for so long.
Of course yall will have to look down to see my eye balls.

Anyway I brought it up last year and I think mabe it
would be aa good idea to appoint someone to sort
of set this thing up. Mabe make reservations for
the GUNSLOT Club.

This is up for discussion. I just don't want time to
slip up on us and nothing was done.

Lets hear some ideas and discussion. A meeting at
The Whittington Center would be a ball.
Google it and see for your self

Sounds good to me CW,

I have a sister that lives in Albuquerque, I could kill two birds, Raton is only 230 miles away from Albuquerque.

Wife grad from Albuquerque HS
We found all her old hang outs and
eating places.

Raton is a real neat place and down
the road is Eagle Nest where there is
a great War Memorial built by the
father of a chopper pilot killed in Nam

I know him pretty well and want to ask him about
transporting guns.

Lucky I want to bring my 357 Taurus
Mossy 20ga shotty
Marlin 30-30

I'm best with the shotty, I want to shoot
some skeet. I used to be very good at
it and am going to start getting some practice in

I know the laws

on transporting guns well enough from here to there,I'd be happy to bring my Mossberg OU for some trap or skeet.

We all need time to plan

I'm retired and can go anytime so
no problem for me.

I know there is camping and cabin rentals
there so we need to plan ahead

in conjuction with an established shooting event. Obviously I won't be making it in 2011, but I already told the wife I plan to do a bit of traveling to various cometitions when I get home, so maybe I can meet up with guys here and there. I almost met up with sam a while back, but had a lot of shit going on for the move to Missouri and the wife's hospital stuff.

I'd love to meet ebear, just to see if the back of his head is as sexy as my dad says it is.

houses all the way to the mountains now.

Thank you for the welcome. I was born and raised on Albuquerque and I am amazed how much it has grown in the past ten to fifteen years.

I was thinking about it being a family trip.
Wives could go shop in Raton and we could shoot.
That's what my wife tells me anyway.
