and you are already a Lt. General. Are you perhaps (just perhaps) taking this thing a little too seriously? I mean, it's not like you are going to put this on your resume: "Achieved Rank of Lt. General on gunslot.com in less than six months." Wow. Cool. That and $3.00 will get you a latte. I actually am thinking rank is achieved much too quickly around here. I mean, in my own mind I don't deserve much above E-4 and I'm already a Colonel! What's up with that? (P.S. Please don't bust me!)

Actually, come to think about it, perhaps the 'management' of this site could adopt the old way of getting a commission: Pay for it. In other words, establish a minimum donation to the site to achieve a certain rank. I would think general of any sort would start bidding above $100.00.

This is the first I've heard of management, grievance committees, unions, blah blah since I retired. I surely am grateful for that. I'm glad to be away from that nonsense.

Now....about your rank: I would rather be SecDef, because you can conspire with the VP and Pres, and make sure thair Companies get uncompeted Military contracts, so that when you are "fired" or "resign", you will have a nice big nest egg of under-the-table, untaxed $$, in addition to your lucrative retirement$$ and benefits. This procedure is now referred to as a "Rummie", named after Donald Rumsfeld.
