GS custom bullets is in South Africa and the Gerard mentioned is supposedly retired as per the company home page.I went to other forums about reloading I go to and everyone says dont buy from these people,they never deliver and no refund is given!

I'm a member of the forum where this was posted. Most of the guys there are the real deal who who live this stuff, they also don't put up with B.S. They love to call bullshitters out. Radio + Helicopter Gunship = More Effective

Radio + Fast Mover = More Effective

I can not think of one practical application to want to send a single round that far... because someone thought it up and says you can, doesn't make it practical.

all I'm saying is that I don't think its the same group we had here. The oji ka san group was trying to develop a light weight bull pup squad rifle. This guy is talking about a 14.5 mm cannon which will probably weigh twice as much as a M82. He also has a lot more projected data, although .5 MOA at 3000M??? They probably came from the same seed, but I don't think they're one in the same. It will be interesting to watch this one play out...

the dude in question doesn't seem to have the same flavor as what I have read of ironkoji et al ......I can't wait to hear about the super computer that's going to come up with the dope settings to produce .5 MOA at 3K...lol

"The "rainbow ride" is specifically people who dream up crap like this and Worse: GET THE FUNDING TO DO IT. Especially when we're still struggling a lot of times with money for the line unit sniper/observer. Who would do a lot of good. What are you gonna shoot at 3000-5000m in Afghanistan?? Most of the worst firefights I'm told (by friends and aquaintences who've been there) are within 500m and closer. Troops go in to search a village and get ambushed while ass deep in it. A big long range rifle isn't going to do you any good. Maybe, just maybe if you got some better optics at the company level you could have ten precision shooters in your platoon providing supporting fire for troops going into these tight little villages. The worst single thing I've come up against is pushing for a basic better round and rifle. Apparently, that isn't needed but a multi-million dollar uber-long range rifle is...? Again, I totally question the priorities here. We don't have this for the troops, we don't have that. But hey, hold on~ We now have the "Rainbow rifle" with magical powers that only costs.....

But it can't substitute for the day-in day-out need for short and medium range rifles that can be stretched to long rifles. When you dedicate long range rifles you just limited their capability."

Was this crowd preHamp? If you missed them they were a treat. I drop out for a while and when I came back they were gone. This is much to coherent and proper english or they were great at the mandrin mess they pretended.

Yes manu, it was pre Hamp but I spent a long ass time reading those jokers post's before jumping in the deep end here and I have a good feel for their online persona, I am pretty confident that what is happening over there is what you guys went through here with the exception that the other site is not as personal a place as we have here so I doubt there would be near the amount of fallout that there was here.

I actually quit gunslot for the rein of the Koji's. I had emailed Greasypaws and stated my opion of these dumbasses and how I did not want to be the one guy being an asshole to these idiots. I had to much respect for the guys here to stay and be a prick while they tried to take advantage of everyone.
