Last year at this time I was in my rig heading for Florida. Went to Daytona for testing, second time I have been. That place is amazing. Talladega is even more awe inspiring, when you stand atop the turns and see just how hight they are. I love my NASCAR.

i havent been to a nascar race yet.i told the wife when we can and do go we goin' to Talladega!it is my favorite,even though daytona has it's mistique i feel that Talladega says"racin'"even more!

You don't go up to the race by Phoenix? I can't remember the name of the town it's in. I keep wanting to say Goodyear but thats the town right before it if I remember right.

I generally see each race one time. Then I go on Thurs, Fri and Sat. See the Busch, Trucks, Practice with pit pass, then watch Suns race on TV. I enjoy being in the pits, I am a gearhead. I lived in Phoenix for 3 years before I moved here. When in the Bay Area, Sonoma was my home track, Now Infineon. have actually raced at Sonoma my self in a Vette and a Porsche.
Also ran Sonoma, Fremont, Lodi, Sacramento in a B/F Dragster in the old days.

The campgrounds are so much fun. Party time. Nekkid women. I got to take a lap around dega, Daytona and Indy. It is great. I have been to about 1/2 of the tracks and, God willing, will do the rest. I became a member of NASCAR in 1961 as a driver and car owner in the old, early model stock car division in Northern Calif.

I feel the same haha, but i prefer talladega racing because it has bigger wrecks and its more exciting, you need to go buy tickets for the fall race at dega or the spring/fall race at bristol, those 2 tracks got the most rowdiest fans lol, ive been to 3 races this year, the first one was the daytona 500 where my driver tony stewart was robbed, the 2nd race i went to was in richmond, va where hamlin led most of the laps but bowyer won, and the last one was when stewart won at talladega, everybody went crazy, half of the people in dega are junior fans and half were stewart fans.

That track is so wicked fast, when turn 1 narrows down. I was there when the Hendricks Team was there practicing. 4 years ago. I had a consulting project to do an appraisal of the track. The 24 car was the fastest and smoothest I have ever seen on that track. He was poetry in motion. Although I don't personally care for him, too much of a whiner and probably one of the only Democrats in NASCAR... LOL for real.

Where at in N. Ca. did you race? Are you calling Sonoma north? I grew up in Northern California, then moved to Az. I grew up in the north east corner, by Oregon and Nevada. Back on track now, I've only been to P.I.R., I try to go to all the races there but missed the last one because I was on a detail in N. Ca. I didn't really miss anything though because Jimmy won the last one I went to. But NASCAR is way better than the N.F.L.

I know alot of people who don't even claim below Redding as Ca. They, and myself included want to break away from the rest of that state. The state of Jefferson. If that happens or even gets back on the ballots I'd probably move back just so I could vote for it. As far as who's going to the Superbowl, Giants over the Titans was my pick about 2 weeks ago, now I'm not so sure.

My money is that the Cowboys will win another championship before Tony Stewart. I'm not a Tony Stewart fan but I am glad that he went back to an American manufacturer. I wonder if Tony is a Colts fan?
