i read and hear that the 10mm and the 38super are excellent rounds why don,t the gun industry promote them like other popular rounds like the 9mm,40sw,and so on

because they don't have any military ar LEA contracts (besides a small number of forest rangers that carry 10mm). They are left to market these to civilians for sporting and defense, and I'm guessing that the market isn't big enough. Not to mention the amount of weapons that fire 9mm, .40, .45 etc... and limited weapons that fire the two you mentioned. Just imagine how many 9mm, .40, and .45acp rounds get sold compared to 10mm and 38super.

Some are in other groups. The 38 Super is used a lot in IPSC and USPSA shooting matches. The 38 Super has a great knock down power to them. Just not out there for all to see and use.
