I like this site because of the open minded people here and all the different info that comes up it makes for a good time i look forward to checking this site when i get home from work every day and even checking it regularly on the weekends the broad spectrum of ideas about guns is entertaining to say the least "It's a hell of a thing...killing a man.You take away all he's got,and all he's ever gonna have."

marv messaged me and said they were workin on logo ideas and they may post them for opinions i told him i think they should be cause if u think about it we are the site we contribute pics and articles and info and stuff so we should have a bit of say on the logo

beers deers and queers seriously bear deer elk grouse used to run hounds for coon and cougar but aint no where to run dogs anymore too many houses and antihunters i just try to put meat in the freezer to feed my family

well i never aquired the taste for venison but i have tasted coon and it was good. but no shit you've hunted cougers?

yeah with dogs it can be fun but when they are up a tree spittin and screamin at you and the dogs a 175 pound cat is kinda scary my buddy had his tag so he shot it out after we tied back the dogs he kept the hide i got the meat not too bad nice and tender real light color to it texture like chicken but lot different taste my kids liked it but cant hunt cats anymore the tree huggers passed anti hound hunting laws in late 90's definitely will be a memory that i keep with me the shame was didnt get no pictures

yeah here in wa state we have black bear and grizzly in northern part of state but cant hunt grizz a good size black bear runs around 350 to 400 pounds we cant use bait piles no more so we road hunt em' just drive around the hills till you see one but you cant beat smoked bear roasts its been two years since i got one but my hunting buddy gets his deer and elk and bear every year so he usually splits it with me cause his family wont eat it and he dont want it to go to waste too bad we dont have a hunters for the hungry program here

so do you pretty much live in the country? cause if i want bear meat i have to go to an exotic meat place about 30 miles from where i live. or i could sneak into the zoo and use a silencer.lol

yeah we live about 80 miles south of seattle and every morning when i leave for work there are elk in the field below my house about 300 yards from my front door anywhere from 3 to 40 elk it varies i live on 20 acres my nearest neighbor is a 1/4 mile away in fact right now there are 9 bobwhite quail in my driveway

no not that much rain the seasons have changed a bit here we have gone more towards a drier climate but i have been here my whole life and i guess you dont notice rain that much when u have it alot no wolves yet but they keep talkin about reintroducing them like they did in wyoming if you wanna see where i live go to google maps and put in eatonville wa

when i was 15 i took amtrak train to louisville kentucky we had a layover for two hours when the train came into the station there it passed behind wrigley plus i used to be into baseball history so i know about wrigley

i like to travel every year on vacation.i've got time share. went to arkansas last year. i love the country.might have to put washington on my list

definitely stay south of seattle down around mt rainier or ellensburg too if you wanna see country these are good starting points

taste of meat depends on their diet alot where i get mine is out of alfalfa fields not old sage brush deer another thing is when cookin it sear the meat real quick to lock in juices then slow cook it, if not how do you like shoe leather?

i just can't get pass the game taste..like cloves.i've hunted jack rabbit in mexico with a 12 guage. at nite. it was a blast. i love rabbit meat.

definetly what the deer are eating i never have had jack rabbit but i let my kids shoot the cottontails in our yard we eat em' and they are mighty tasty if you dont like big game meat try some buffalo i get mine at the grocery store its pretty good too basically the only meat we buy all year from the store is chicken and turkey we raise 3 pigs for butcher plus i buy a whole beef cow to butcher from a friend then whatever we hunt and the wifes grandfather gives everyone half a beef for christmas every year it takes three freezers to keep it all but aint worried about e.coli or steroids in my meat

i've had bison..very juicy meat.i loved it. yeah nothing better that fresh slaughtered cow. my father has a dairy ranch in mexico. best is the one year old calf. very tender.turkey is good, but you can have duck.too greasy for me. do you make your own cracklings with the pig.....outstanding.

what do you mean? like pork rinds? we have made homemade pork rinds but not often their ok i just buy em' at the store though

yeah pork rinds...i love them fresh.chewy.its been a couple of years though.i used to go once a year, then i got married and had kids and all girls. they don't like the ranch life.no pool no malls.

I write a nice little comment and even have someone comment that it was good information, and I come back a little later and find thta I've been busted back from Brigider General to Colonel. Wow, thats a bit harsh. Not that it means anything but it does seem a little arbitrary. I guess rankings here are really meaningless. And again, I can see that it really doesnt matter in the grand scheme of things, but it sure makes you wonder how important any of this is.

your rank is determinded by how many points you have. each time you comment, upload pics, videos write reviews etc... you acquire points. every few days quinton adjusts the ranks according to points. it has nothing to do with the quality of the information you post. It sounds like someone just passed you by, which in return, demoted you. no big deal. they really don't mean anything.
