Wife wants a change? That is the kind of change we got when Obozo got into office. That swap sounds like if Hamp traded some one his Subaru for a pinto....just not right.

Wife wants a change

That's not where I thought this post was leading. The reality is better than what I'd feared.

If that's what you and your wife want, more power to you. I don't agree, but it's none of my business.

If you pick up a starving dog and make him prosperous, he will not bite you. This is the principal difference between a dog and a man. (Mark Twain).

Didn't know you had a Vet mike.. is this rhetorical or a statement.. tell us about it..

Had a lot of sports cars from the XK-150, Triumphs, Opel Gt, even an old sunbeam alpine for the anglophobes out there.. So what's the scoop..

always thought

that was stretching it a bit, calling an opal GT anything other than UGLY,and a SUNBEAM??? whew! of course i had a CHEAP ass VW with only the drivers seat in it,floor had rotted out under the passenger seat, paid 50 bucks for it,drove it a year and a half, junked it for 55 bucks after the tranny blew up( it had the clutch in the console stick shifter, push down on the shift lever and it would engage the clutch, then move into whatever gear position you were looking for, then as you raised the shifter it would engage the gears and off you go!) always wanted to make a 3 wheeler out of that one. you totally redeemed yourself with the Triumph though, except for the electrics i really like them( my brother had one,a 66)

the gt sorta looked like a stingray.. had some great lines lucky.. big ol lever on the console that would throw the lights thru a 180 to full open.. they made a little engine, and a big one.. i had the big one..cant remember the size, but a cool looking ride.. The sunbeam was dog ugly yeah.. but bright red, and good wires (as was the Xk150) sheesh got rid of it cause it was an auto.. this was a roadster..they only imported (L hand drive) like 4 or some crazy thing.. the worth is off scale.. that one had two 6 volts wired in series to get 12... you had to do full R lock and then a tray rolled out behind the wheel with a little 6 batt on it.. then over to the L side to do the same.. beyond odd.. but man it was something..Have a big post on this some where..

Sold the jag for what i paid for it.. blew a hole in the sunbeams block that was the same size as a piston..hmmm.. Don't know what happened to the opel, but it was really sweet.. Had a super bettle.. it was hmm...dependable i guess. still thinking about CW's tri power 348.. Had a cousin with one that was just a big 4 bl, and it was a screamer..

HI-Point?

Why would anyone like a Hi-Point?

Try an XD and it will be a whole new world... You need to hang out with some more gun people to try out some better choices!
