Just purchased a Winchester Model 37 A from the 70's and it has a cracked forearm spacer. Looking at guns for sale online, it's clear that mine isn't the only one to experience this problem.
I ordered a new spacer, which is plastic, but I'm wondering if anyone has made these from billet or if anyone has an idea about how to prevent breakage, besides not using the gun. It's a 20 ga., and I want to teach the girlfriend how to shoot with it.

Have them take the new spacer and replicate it in billet or even steel?

No sir, he fell into that bullet... Never argue with a stupid person. They'll just drag you down to their level and beat you with experience!!
