XD 40 vs. M&P 40

Does anyone know of literature of a direct comparison for these? Trying to make up my mind when my tax refund comes back. I was over at Sportsmans Warehouse yesterday and all they have are 5 Taurus of one model. They said they did 500,000 in gun sales alone last month! The sales guy i talked to said he got in trouble for emailing a pic of his empty wall. I told him instead of just turning people away, they should start a "call list" for when new stuff comes in. As always I appreciate your time and responses.

I've not been on youtube much, mostly my kids. I'm finding out there is a lot more than just teenager b.s. on there!

XD vs. M&P

Both good. very similar with the exception of the grip saftey. I would hold both and see what feels best. remember the M&P comes with the ability to change the size of the grip. both will be very reliable
