Yea im new
Hows everyone doing, Im new on here and just wanted to get aquainted with this site. I also have a question about the pistol ill buy next. Its between the Taurus Millenium Pro or the Beretta M92FS. I Dont really have a preferance to the .40 or 9mm round but I like both. I cant make up my mind so some opinions would be greatly appreciated. Thank you and God Bless us all for we have the dumbest ape in office. "Socialism is the philosophy of failure, the creed of ignorance, and the gospel of envy"-Winston Churchill |

Welcome to the site. I am sure you are going to get lot's of pros and cons on this, but the US Govt has never used a Taurus to my knowledge.

I would go with the Beretta if you want a 9mm, if you wanted a .40 I would recommend a Glock 22, must say I love mine and it works great. But nothing is fun quite like firing off a beretta.

I agree with Sam. If your looking for a 9mm platform go ahead and get the Beretta. There is something about the feel of the 92 and the lines of it that make it a bit sexy. It feels good in the hands and has always been accurate for me. I don't have a Taurus, but do have a Berretta 92fs and it's never gave me any problems.

Welcome! I think you'll like the site. Lots of good guys, lots of experience & knowledge, lots of good talk about guns & practically anything else, lots of good pictures. As far as the handgun goes, Beretta 92's have years of dependable service. They work & work & work. I don't like the feel of them (too fat in the grip), & I don't like the double action first shot, but that's just me. If you like it, buy it. I've never used a Taurus Millenium Pro, but most people who have say good things about them. Taurus has progressed to where they're one of the better firearms manufacturers in the world today. Which fits your hand best? Which one can you hit with the best? That's the one you should buy.

Welcome to the site, it's a great place with great people to hang with. Mu opinion would (without a doubt) the Beretta. Long history, military and otherwise.

i would go with the .40.....9mm is a growing scarce round. .40 is also got more pop. most police are going to that round.I have a Taurus in a .45 and love it. But Can't go wrong with a Beretta.....now i have to go look for my pants.......

Pretty sure you will like it here, bunch of really great guys (and some gals) all salt of the earth and normal (ok, some of us might fall short on the last) Enjoy, and have fun. Interesting you mention the 92, i was amazed when i read the new NRA mag that profiled it, can't believe its been in service for 25 years already. This issue of 40 vs 9 is a "you can't go wrong" thing. The 40 has a bit more power, and is increasingly popular with LE, but i find the 9 a lot less expensive to shoot, and easier, unless your a long time shooter, if there is a novice involved then it just underscores the above. Welcome to the site.. agree on Fords.

I have a taurus 92 that i have used and abused for years but if it was me and i was down to those two choices i'd go with the berreta in 9mm. Not a big fan of the 40. Again welcome

Taurus Millenium has a better feels to it. Shooting the 92 is like holding a t-square
