Does anyone know how much one should cost? I was thinking in the 350 dollar range.

350.00 dollar is in ballpark neh, demo if look around can most likely find better price than this. not be too quick to pull the trigger on this purchase. is very good rifle and can probable find lower price. take care and good luck neh!

PM (Fatal Error)

It seems some PM's go through while others go into "Space" oh well I to wish for this PM stuff to be fixed so I can PM some people. And usally when a prob arises we send PM to Quinton or Marvin but in this case its like a 50/50 thing goin on.

Thanks for info

I'll wait till they come down a little more. Anyone know if the prices on guns are coming down at the Gun Shows.....I haven't been in awhile because of high prices.

I am new here but I have 8 SKS rifles, 4 Yugos and 4 Chinese Norinco's. I paid anywhere from $200 to $280 for each. I bought 6 of the 8 on gunbroker.com and my local FFL holder only charges me $10 for the transfer so it works out well. Shipping is usually around $25-$35 additional. At gun shows, I still see asking prices from high $300's to low $400's.

$269 is a good price for a Yugo 59/66 if the metal is in good shape. One of the 4 Yugos I have has metal that is pitted to hell, but can still kill ya, and accurately too. There are two things that I like about the Chinese versions over the Yugos; All of the Chino's I have seem to feed with any high capacity magazine I shove in them and the Yugos will only feed consistently with with either their stock fixed-mags or the Tapco 20 rounders. I cannot even get the Yugos to reliably feed with the Pro Mags. The other thing I like about the Chinese versions is that they have chrome lined barrels and the Yugos do not. It just gives me a little more confidence in the longevity of the barrel. They are relatively cheap for what they have to offer.

Be honest with you, i didn't know the yugo wasn't. This does not surprise me as the price is so low, but good to know.. the company i mentioned is really great to do deal with, and they have a free mailer that is worth a phone call. They have decent prices on ammo as well. I'm thinking about getting a SMLE from them, and just about talked my self into it.. Now all i have to do is wait till wife wants something special from QVC.. "Sure dear, oh by the way honey ive been thinking about buying an antique British rifle".. Sorta got it worked out..
