They produced (2) main Carbines that were their claim to fame.
The first was the Calico M-110 .22LR Carbine 6" Barrel with Integral Muzzle Break,Ambidextrous Safety, Pistol Grip Storage and a uniquely designed 100 Round Capacity Helical Magazine. Manufactured 1989-2001
They are still seen on occasion on online auctions and they do have a following and have Collectors value.

Calico Light Weapons Systems RETURNED to OPEN STATUS as of July 2006!!
Website at WWW.calicolightweaponsystems.com
Also available are the M-100 Carbine, the Liberty series 9mm pistol & Carbine, and other calibers are rumoured to be in the research & development stages on their online forum.
For the Calico itself...I LOVE THIS WEAPON!!!! I own a M-110 pistol and enjoy it greatly. Mine currently has a twinrail flashlight/laser combo for removing pesky raccoons/rabbits/etc from my garden...a VERY effective tool for this purpose. It does have surprising recoil for a .22 and it does tend to be a little top-heavy due to the magazine's placement, but that seems to help steady it for the shot...the after is what feels a little strange.
Plus, it you want one or any other high capacity weapon, better get it before Jan 01, 2009 if the Dems win the election...

I have owned my Calico pistol for a very long time and have never been able to fully enjoy it. I just recently purchased a scope mount from the Calico store and am excited at the idea of having a real sight on the thing after all these years.
I am looking for any suggestions or recommendations you may have for which scope/sight to go with based on your experience with your pistol.
