Ok we just purchased this gun and guess what..took it out to the farm, loaded it and was ready for the thrill of a life time. IT WON"T FIRE!!!! and suggestions besides taking it back to the dealer where we bought it??? I really really wanted to experience this was really let down.
We had this think loaded and ready to fire. Pulled the trigger and the hammer wouldn't even go forward. It acted as if we didn't release the safety but double checked it and yep we had it released....
The dealer, in the paperwork said to send it back to manufactured so we are shipping it back. Paid over 1300 for this thing. Expected better thats for sure. Thanks for your imput. It helps having experienced people to discuss topics with.
if the hammer didn't drop, that means it didn't even make it to the firing pin. Possibly a trigger issue? I honestly don't know, it will be hard for anyone to diagnose it without seeing the gun. Good luck!

I could be wrong but here in Ireland sometimes bits of weapons are cobbled together and sold as new by certain crime groups or sold to legit traders who then sell the weapons. I know this is a silly question but when you got it ready to fire had you before that taken it apart cleaned it and checked that no parts were rubbing?
I hope you weren't insulted by such a simple question.

these things are prone to jamming. As far as not firing... it maybe a firing pin issue. I would take it back!

I'm looking to purchase a good, un-used desert eagle, what would be the price range? And I'm not sure if they are illegal in Virginia, are they?
