marvin Posted: May 11, 2007 The Glock 17A is a variant of the Glock 17 specifically produced for the Australian market, to conform and apply with local laws regarding barrel lengths created after the tragic Monash University shooting.
The sole differences between the Glocks, a Glock 17 and a Glock 17A, is that the Glock 17A has a 120mm long barrel which protrudes from the frame of the Glock visibly and the magazine of the Glock 17A can only hold 10 rounds.
