The Glock 36 is a slimline pistol designed and manufactured by Glock of Austria.
The G36 is chambered for the .45 ACP round in an ultra-compact frame; the slide, barrel, and magazine, are unique and distinct to the model. The G36 is an extremely popular carry and self-defnese pistol in the United States, where the caliber of the weapon is widely favored. The G36 has a 6-round capacity, and utilizes the single stack as opposed to the double stack magazine. This is the first Glock to be manufactured with a single stack.
Despite the Glock 36 having a small frame, people with larger hands have much less difficulty with this slim line model than the other subcompact Glocks (26, 27, 33), because the magazine is developed and designed with a built-in extension which drastically increases the effective grip length.
