I bought a NcStar holographic red dot for my AR. Haven't used it much yet, how do you like the quality of what you have. Thought they were made in U.S.A. when I bought it, then saw that it's Chinese. Spent $100.00 on it.

i like it. i have compared it to various others side by side in store. no difference other then the one i bought was 45mm which i like cause i can keep both eyes open, see around me and still lock on a target. 100 dollars is good. adco (cheapie) sells one for 70 which i would even put on my paint gun

at the top of the gunslot page to the right, click on your screen name. it is next to creat settings etc... then click on edit profile just above review guns. then above where you would type your name is a little box that says profile, next to profile, click on account settings. on this page, the second box is where you load a pic. click on browse, find your picture and double click it then click ok or load. when picture is done loading, scroll down to bottom and click submit

A friend bought one of these and asked me to check it out. Took it to the range and had a failure to eject on the second shot. After using four hands to hold the slide back long enough to drive the pin out, I was able to remove the slide and take the extractor out. After swabbing up the blood from the meathook on the end of the dang thing, I fitted and polished properly. Back to the range, five shots, and I might add surprisingly accurate ones, it stove piped the live sixth round. Cleared and repeat. Same thing, stovepipe the sixth round. Back at the homestead I stripped the magazine and polished the rough spots. Havn't had a chance to shoot it yet to see if this helped. Any similar problems out there? So far my friend has a fairly accurate, five shot semi-automatic.

Yes, I have. Every hi point I have fired has experienced numerous FTF's and FTE's. I have a friend who had one and it wouldn’t feed JHP's at all. The frame eventually split in half using commercial factory loads. They are garbage in my opinion. I know I'll probably catch some shit from somebody who loves them. I have read reports from people who haven't experienced any problems at all. I am well aware of their "lifetime warranty". I think they must have some QC issues. My personal opinion is that they are nothing better than a tackle box gun or plinking range gun. I certainly wouldn't rely on one for defensive purposes.
