This is the first shotgun I ever fired and to this day, it remains one of my favorites. The heat shield on this weapon makes it look so sinister. The price point on these Mossbergs really makes them an affordable option for an excellent home defense weapon. I have a tough time deciding whether I like the Remington 870 or the Mossberg 590 better. They are dead even in my book.
