Background

There are two basic models of the Mossberg Maverick 88. The M 88 field and the 88 security. The 88 field comes equipped with a 28" vent-rib barrel and the security comes equipped with an 18.5" non-vent rib barel. The Security model weighs about 6lbs, both fire 2 3/4" and 3" shells. The 88's have a general magazine capacity of 6 or 8 shots and cannot have their magazines easily extended with any type of magazine extension.

Yeh i got one, its not bad for the price. But you get what you pay for. good starter rifle.
