First introduced in 1957, the M60 currently remains in use within every branch of the United States military and various other armed forces. The machine guns continued upgrade and manufacture for commercial and military purchase continues with output into the 21st century. Of late, the M60 has been slowly supplemented or replaced in many roles by more efficient and newer designs.

Death from Above
This weapon was called da hogg by my weapons sqd. Its weighs 23 lbs. and will build up your forearms really quick. I used to love the way my asst. gunner would spot for me and how the rounds would walk my platoon across the objective. Yeah them were the good ole days. Even now the army is always modifying or going to new and improved but the sound of a 60... Yell you know what I mean.
