I'm in the waiting period for a Mossberg Silver Reserve 12 gauge. I've been reading some bad things about it. I know that dissatisfied people are more likely to post comments than satisfied ones. What have your experiences been with it, good or bad? Should I ask the dealer if I can apply my money to something else?

I myself havn't read anything on that model itself, but i can look up some information on it.

Reply to mossberg silver reserve, went to their web site to find info on that series of o/u and side by side shotguns. They remind me of the ruger red lable line which indeed is a fine line. The mossberg series are a new breed but havn't herd any reports on them and don't know anyone who owns one. Mossberg are usually known for reliable and rugged pumps, but if you are sceptical of the models try looking at the red lable line of rugers. I have handled plenty of them and sold a bunch of them also. They are great for the money.
