06 Triumph Rocket

WOW! Exceptional scooter.

They call it the "Little Hoss" after the Boss Hoss.. LOL

in 2006. The salesman told me not to treat it like my Harley. He said if I take off, on this one, like I do on my Ultraglide, I will be picking it up after it comes out from under me. I think that was a slight exageration, but this bike has got some serious HP and torque. He told me to take off like I normally would, but don't give the bike any throttle. I said that the bike will go dead, but it didn't. The low RPM torque just powered it out of the parking lot and once I cracked the throttle, it took off like a...Rocket. It went from 40 to 150 in just a few seconds. I didn't even gear down to make that happen. I was passing a truck and almost didn't get my lane change in before I overtook that truck. These are quick as greased lightning. The only problem that I had with it was hitting a bump while in the middle of a turn. The suspension was so tight that the frontend would bounce you wide while coming out of the turn. I have also read this in reviews. When I get to the point of owning another bike, this is the one I am gonna get.

Is this a five or six speed?? Nice motorcycle.
