15' rattlesnake

it was reported in the news at 15', the story got a lot of attention, 6' rattlesnakes are not uncommon in NE Florida.

dude with the camera is likely 6'~

How far away is the "dude" with the camera?
How big around is the aluminium pole holding the snake?
What would a 15' snake weigh?
Not looking for an argument 1911 and Hamp.
I just want reasonable answers.
I saw this same photo about 2 months ago with a reported weight of 170lb.
OK, I weigh about 170, anybody want to pick me up on the end of a 10' pole?

Look at the bow in the pole, I would wager more than one guy holding it up and in the end, I really don't care how long it was.....Big bastard though, I hate snakes.

6 ft... I've seen bigger diamondbacks in the desert. one had a jack rabbit half way down its throat. That thing was a beast! I've also seen a king snake (I think, not a rattler) that was as long as the width of the two lane road. I wouldn't doubt it was 15"

I found updated information about the size of this snake it actually measured 7'3", there was a
lot of hype when the snake was found but the real details came out later.

I aint too far from Sweetwater a lot of the time. Worlds largest Rattlesnake Roundup. Lots of damn snakes of many different kinds.

One of the locals just clued me in on a range about 3 miles from here. Gotta go check it out and see what kind of hardware to bring after the 4th!
