Most amazing web site photo I've ever seen, and its the cockpit of a P-51C.
It takes a moment to load, and then you can hold the left mouse button down and move the mouse to make
it slide around, or up and down. It goes opposite to the way I think it should, and you can get sick and dizzy
if not careful with your mouse! You can roll the mouse wheel (if you have one) for close up and zoom back out.
Extremely fine detail.
Now... view up and down (you can view straight down to the seat pan or straight up to canopy) -- and all around.
Then... tell me, WHO's holding the camera? And where are his hands? Or even a simple fixture to hold the
camera? I couldn't find anything! The camera is floating in mid air in the center of the cockpit! Wow.
I zoomed in to the data plate to learn it was a P-51C-5NT, North American serial # 26199,
but US Army gave it a serial # of 42-108645. Didn't know they had different serial numbers.
And, it has an N number of N61429, which the FAA says belongs to:
AMERICAN AIRPOWER HERITAGE FLYING MUSEUM
9600 WRIGHT Dr.
MIDLAND, TX 79711
