uses a .30 cal tungsten projectile surrounded by a .50 cal plastic discarding sabot. Projectile weight is 355-360 gr, with a muzzle velocity of 3985 fps. Has a listed effectiveness of 3/4" steel penetration at 1500 meters. Not for use with rifles using conventional muzzle brakes. These things cost the government $7.50/rd.
