I started cutting out my own range last summer, this is the view from 50 yards, I've since cut it back to 125 yards and plan another 125 if the weather ever warms up. It's cut on the side of the mountain above my brothers house.
can't wait to get my own land to do this. Mine will be a little longer I hope and pray.

Since then, all weeds are gone, I've put in better shooting tables and range markers, I also put in several shooting platforms. It's alot of work but well worth it to me. this is on a flat about half way up the mountain my brothers house is about 1000 yards down the mountain and you only get to the range by walking or 4 wheeler. Flat land around here is mostly stuffed with houses or trailers. This was logged about 10 years ago and every thing is just now growing back. I'll post more pictures when it gets warmer of the way it looks now.
