$64,000 of PAC money for a portrait of himself

$64,000 of PAC money for a portrait of himself

There are few restrictions on how Members of Congress spend leadership PAC money. Charles B. Rangel, D-N.Y., the powerful chairman of the House Ways and Means Committee see here at a Sept. 2008 news conference, used his leadership PAC to commission a $64,000 portrait of himself that will eventually be hung in the committee's hearing room. Kill that asshole...oh wait, I don't mean that, but really, couldn't there be a Christmas miracle and maybe he gets caught up in a drive by or something...Please, please plese...just think what a great holiday season if him, Dodd, Pelosi, Frank and Franken all went down in the same plane or something.

I feel bad for writing this...no I don't, wait, I should, or I shouldn't...haha!

I don't condone assassination of our elected officials!r

I find myself so frustrated some days. It is hard to rationalize how people with any kind of brain can follow these "Lords upon High" They are all crooks, charlatans and egotistical monsters who believe their press. In my lifetime,I want to see total term limits for all elected "peoples representatives" No more power mongers. I guess that is like wishing for world peace...

There is a big controversy in LA about one of the city supervisors wanting to remodel his offices. He has only been a supervisor for a year. He is a supervisor of one of the poorest, roughest areas of downtown. I am not so much opposed to a little freshening up, but this guy is on record for wanting to spend almost $800,000 to renovate a 4,000sf office space. This does not, I repeat NOT include the $320,000 he expects to spend on Cherry furniture. Yes $320,000 on furniture, desks and cabinets. The radio guys John and Ken harassed the supervisors office into calling them. Live on the air you should have heard the double talk from the other supervisors that signed approval for this little piece of heaven. Made me so pissed.

You got yourself a squirrel killer, nice. My wife gets mad when I buy myself things especially around Christmas. She doesn't work, the kids don't work, if they are going to get me something for Christmas, I pay for it anyways, so I tell her why should I wait? Plus I want to make it hard for her to figure it out anyway! I'm silly that way!!
Gotta go warm up the coffee pot myself, I think after the non-working souls in my house wake up, we are supposed to take a trip up to the local mountains and see how much snow was thrown around and let the dog play. God I hate my life, just kidding!
